The suffering of the world

The lecture for this week was globalisation and some other current problems we were asked to write them in the board that we think they’re faced by the world nowadays. Since we didn’t get new thing in the tutorial class, this reflection will be taken from the lecture. Everything that I learnt in the lecture was almost the same with the previous weeks, globalization, poverty, Illiteracy and so on. Inside the lecture, there were some problems that grabbed my attention which are Illiteracy, racism and politics.

The reason why these problems captured my attention is that, politics and racism were raised frequently by the students while illiteracy was mentioned just once. I got absentminded for a while thinking why only these three are repeated most frequent, why not poverty and wars though they influence much worse than those, why?! A lot of questions were there in my mind seeking answers.

At that time one thought came to my mind I forgot who said it but what I believe, it comes In its time, which says “don’t look for an answers, look for questions where the answers are”  Admittedly, I couldn’t follow the lecture because I was thinking about the questions so deeply. Later, I found out that illiteracy is the problem which if it is solved most of the world problems will be solved immediately.

Educating people is the best way to improve them, I looked around the world I’ve never seen any developed country its population is illiterate. This answer to my question inspired me by different things. It inspired me a treasure which is when looking for an answer of something; try to find an answer that helps in solving most of the problems like this case. This is was what I got for this week.
