Personally I would it has been great studying this course for eleven weeks , it has given me a lot of information which I did not know before and this was achieved through the articles which were distributed in class and as well as through discussion of the respective topics during tutorials.
In this course we were exposed to the issues that happened in the past which some of us did not know about, as well the issues which are taking place in the present. This was through the topics we cover like the western ethics, in which we discussed a bout the ancient life of the Greece people, and in different ethical topics we discussed such as Islamic and Japanese ethics. It was during this time when I was able to discover some ethical issues which seemed to be okay before.
Learning this course has been a really great experience since it is meaningful and all the issues which were discussed were real as they happen in our day to day life. For example, the contemporary ethical issues such same sex marriage, corruption torture and death penalty. From that I was even able to identify different unethical issues in my country. I suggest that it will be good for the course to be taught in all the undergraduate students who will be coming since it may be useful to them as it has been to me.
And the topics which I found to be relevant and interesting are; the contemporary ethical issues. These were the most interesting topics as students need to know the issues which happen often around them. For example divorce which is the final termination of a marital union, cancelling the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage and dissolving the bonds of matrimony between the parties, corruption which has become a global problem and death penalty. However, I think this is not the end of the journey but is just the beginning since I have been exposed to a lot of issues I have to take my own initiative to dig them deep so that to further my knowledge.
To conclude I would say that, the lecturer played his role well as a facilitator; he made sure we all understood the concepts and on my side as a student I well understood each and every concept discussed as well I am proudly saying that I am richer in terms of knowledge having gone through this journey with you.
