At this week, the lecture on Ethics was about ethics in China, Japan and ethics in Islam. In this lecture, there were 2 sections because we did not have enough time to discuss about all those things. In my perceptions, China and Japan had good ethics which we had to follow because both countries had their traditional ethics and until now they still did it each of them. According to the slide that Mr Hamid presented, he said that people in China had two normative ethics. They were ethical practice and ethical theory (Musschenga, 1998). They did not just have theory, but they also practiced the ethics in their life. I reflected that people in China had high ethics and good ethics.
Mr Hamid talked about ethics in Japan in section 2 of lecture. It was on Thursday. Because we had section 2 of lectures, we did not have tutorial class at that time. Japan was the country which had high technology and also had good ethics.Japan was better than my country, Indonesia, in many situations, such as : in technology, economy, and in many thing. For the last topic of this lecture, it was about Ethics in Islam. In this lecture, it was given by Ms Siti Noor. As one of the students who were Muslims, I liked to learn or to discuss about Islam, so that I could learn more about Islam and to get to know deeply about Islam. I was one of the Muslims who less understood about Islam. My knowledge about Islam was very low than the other Muslims. So, I wanted to learn everything about Islam especially in ethics.
