When this topic was brought up in class by Dr F Ahmed, i immediately retrospected on my topic for the panel discussion. If one can make a comparative analysis say 10 years ago and current time, we are going to see a mark increased in the divorce rate. Also if one compared the number of students studying overseas or the diaspora, one is also going to see a remarkable increased. So one of the reasons for the divorce could probably due to these scholars trying to get their life partners overseas resulting in culture blending. Since marriage is a life lasting oath in the cause of time you may come to discover the true personality and the cultural differences of the partner. But then that is not the major nor the main cause of divorce nowadays.
